🚧 POS Opening Entry Tool (Cash Only – In Progress)

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on a small but handy tool for managing POS Opening Entries, especially focusing on cash denominations. It’s still under development, and for now, it only supports cash-based entries.

:camera_flash: Screenshots above show how denominations are entered and how the breakdown is logged into the system.

:speech_balloon: I’m looking forward to your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions on improving this.
Once it’s more stable, I’ll share the full app with the community.

Stay tuned and thank you for your support!

[UPDATE] POS Closing Entry – Cash Denomination Support & Print Enhancements

Hi everyone,

I have added a useful update to the POS Closing Entry workflow focused on handling cash denominations efficiently.

:1234: Denomination Entry for Cash

A new “Enter Denomination” button is available under Modes of Payment. Cashiers can input the quantity of each denomination (e.g., 500 MVR × 1, 100 MVR × 5), and the system will automatically calculate the Cash Total.

:arrows_counterclockwise: Auto-fill Closing Amount

After entering denominations, users can click on the « Closing Amount » field, and the system will auto-fill it based on the entered denominations. This minimizes errors and saves time.

:receipt: Denomination Breakdown in Print

The POS Closing Entry print format now includes a Denomination Breakdown section. It clearly shows the quantities and values of each denomination submitted:

500 × 1 = 500.000
100 × 5 = 500.000
-----------------
Total: 1,000.000

:white_check_mark: Summary

  • Cash denominations are now captured in a structured way.
  • Closing amount is calculated based on denominations.
  • The breakdown is visible in the final printable report.

:bulb: Note:
The current version supports basic denomination input for cash only. More enhancements will follow.

:hammer_and_wrench: Work in Progress
I’m still finalizing the app and will be sharing it soon.
Looking forward to your suggestions, feedback, and ideas for improvement!
