Dokos can operate on Oracle DB yes or No?

Hi,
It was an eliminatory question on the RFP received recently for gov bank.
Please share your feedback for the subject question and provide any guidance if it’s doable.
We are ready to engage for a paid task also.

Hi @nofalmami,

Like Frappe/ERPNext, we only support two types of databases:

MariaDB for Dodock and Dokos
PostgreSQL for Dodock

Making the whole codebase compatible with OracleDB would be a major task outside our current strategy.
You are welcome to submit pull requests to the project if you want to work on such a compatibility.
